Specialist, People and Culture (14 Month Contract)

From concept and design to getting products on shelves and online, we can support retailers, brands, and wholesalers with everything they need to get ready for retail.

We are currently looking for a Specialist, People and Culture (14 Month Contract - until January 2026) to assist with HR related activities and programs for our Mississauga, New York, and Los Angeles sites.  The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, can manage complex projects with tight deadlines, and have participated in HR-related system implementations.

Reporting directly to the Director, People and Culture (North America), you will further strengthen and contribute to the success of the team within IBG and its subsidiaries.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

• Assist with People and Culture programs, including Wellness Program, Recognition Program and Learning Program
• Assist in the delivery of training programs through our LMS
• Play a key role in People and Culture projects including HRIS and LMS implementation
• Act as an active member of the JHSC, promoting a healthy and safe work environment
• Assist with any HR-related projects or programs as requested by management
• Assisting in updating our policies and guidelines
• Assisting in the development of People and Culture communication and presentation decks

ABOUT YOU:

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
• CHRP/CHRL designation, or working towards completion
• 3 years’ experience in human resources field (excluding recruitment)
• Knowledge of US employment standards and laws considered an asset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Bonus if you have participated in an HR-related system implementation
• Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
• Advance knowledge in HRIS and other HR-related systems
