We are currently looking for a Manager, Quality Assurance & Regulatory to lead quality and regulatory compliance across our beauty, personal care, and consumer products portfolio. This role is responsible for ensuring products meet the highest quality standards and comply with applicable Canadian and U.S. regulatory requirements throughout the product development and production lifecycle, from initial specifications and development samples through to pre-production, production QC, and final QA shipment release.
Reporting to the Head of QAR, North America, you will serve as a key quality leader and trusted partner to Product Development, Project Management, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and passionate about driving quality excellence while supporting innovation and business growth.

In this role, you will:
Quality & Regulatory Leadership
· Ensure products comply with Canadian and U.S. cosmetic and consumer product regulations.
· Review and approve product specifications, ingredient documentation, and product labeling.
· Provide regulatory guidance to internal teams and support client compliance requirements.
· Approve artwork and packaging for regulatory compliance prior to production.
Quality Assurance & Product Evaluation
· Oversee product evaluations throughout development, pre-production, and production stages.
· Develop inspection and quality control plans to ensure products meet client specifications.
· Review testing, inspection, and quality documentation to support product approvals.
Product Release & Continuous Improvement
· Review quality control reports and authorize final shipment releases.
· Develop, maintain, and improve SOPs, quality standards, and quality management documentation.
· Identify process improvements and drive quality initiatives across the organization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Partner closely with Product Development, Supply Chain, Project Management, Sales, and external vendors.
· Coordinate third-party testing and inspection activities.
· Provide training and guidance on quality standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
Job requirements
About you
· Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and/or Regulatory Affairs within cosmetics, personal care, OTC, or consumer products.
· Strong working knowledge of Health Canada, FDA, MOCRA, and cosmetic labeling requirements.
· Experience with product specifications, quality systems, SOP development, inspections, and regulatory compliance processes.
· Experience managing external testing laboratories and quality inspection programs.
· Previous leadership, coaching, or team development experience is considered an asset.
· Familiarity with EU cosmetic regulations is an asset
