We are looking for a highly skilled, hands-on Marketing & Innovation Associate to serve as a critical right-hand support to the Director, Marketing, IBG North America. This is a growth-focused role for a strong executor who thrives in a high-energy, fast-moving environment and is passionate about market research, storytelling, AI-powered marketing tools, and creating compelling presentations.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
Market Research & Competitive Insights
Conduct ongoing market research, trend analysis, and competitor benchmarking in beauty, CPG, and retail.
Utilize tools like WGSN, Spate, Google Trends, and other industry reports to extract key insights.
Analyze consumer behavior and retail trends, translating insights into strategic product recommendations for internal and client presentations.
Presentation & Storytelling Excellence
Develop visually compelling, data-driven presentations in PowerPoint and Canva for internal stakeholders and clients.
Craft storytelling decks that bring brand strategies, product launches, and innovation concepts to life.
Support senior executive presentations and internal communications, ensuring brand tone of voice clarity, structure, and impact.
Marketing Execution & Content Development
Develop marketing collateral, product sell sheets, and campaign materials that align with brand positioning.
Assist in the creation of internal and external communication assets, including CEO updates, newsletters, employee engagement initiatives, and marketing briefs.
Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams and external agencies on brand messaging, innovation decks, product strategy, packaging strategy, and go-to-market materials.
Execute trade show support and materials
Conduct retail audits to inform strategy and insights.
AI-Powered Marketing & Digital Tools
Leverage AI tools (e.g., Perplexity, MidJourney, Adobe Firefly) to enhance content creation, image generation, and research.
Support AI-assisted marketing automation and workflow efficiencies.
Create basic video edits and marketing assets for presentations and internal campaigns.
KPI Tracking, Budget, & Project Management
Track key marketing performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of campaigns and initiatives.
Monitor and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Provide regular performance reports to guide strategic decision-making.
Utilize project management tools to ensure timely delivery of campaigns and materials.
Job requirements
ABOUT YOU
3-7 years of experience in marketing, innovation, or brand strategy within beauty, CPG, or a related field.
Strong market research and analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
Expertise in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, along with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and AI-powered tools.
Highly proficient in project management platforms such as Smartsheet, Notion, or similar.
Hands-on marketing execution – developing assets, writing briefs, and supporting campaign rollout.
Strong understanding of corporate and product branding principles and business-to-business marketing.
Excellent storytelling, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to present confidently.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with a strong sense of urgency and time management.
Naturally curious, with a growth mindset and willingness to take initiative.
Experience with basic video editing (E.g. Adobe Premiere, CapCut, Canva video tools)
Knowledge of social media trends and content strategy
